Unique Team Enhancement is designed to work through, and in conjunction with the key leaders in your organization.

Our goal is to strive for training sustainability by allowing your organization to be fully self-sufficient toward continuing the reinforcement of the concepts and philosophies delivered during Unique Team Enhancement. This is accomplished through subsequent follow-up team meetings in conjunction with the key leaders in your organization.

The greater number of individuals and/or department members from your organization who participate in Unique Team Enhancement, the greater the results toward overall organizational peak performance will occur.
 
Three primary differences between conventional team-building and Unique Team Enhancement are the following:
  1. We work with a very fluid set of concepts, philosophies, and tactics unlike conventional team-building, which relies on extremely rigid constructs such as psychological testing, protocols, charts, graphs, formulas, and curriculums, which organizations and the team members within them have historically grappled with.

  2. All teammates hold each other vertically accountable; not just top-down team leaders/managers holding subordinates accountable.

  3. Unique Team Enhancement allows your organization, its team leaders/managers, and team members to get where they need to be by allowing them to arrive at the intended and desired results through a process which they themselves bring about. This is a result of the extremely unique way in which the team-building process is delivered.

Doctor of Clinical Psychology
My perspective on psychology is markedly different from the mainstream paradigm which exists in psychology today. In my doctoral program I was considered a maverick, one who frequently, but respectfully challenged mainstream psychological theory, politically correct psychological discussion, and all psychological testing validity. As a result, one aspect worth understanding about my views are that they tend to be very unique and different (hence Unique Team Enhancement) than the mainstream. Although I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology, I consider myself to be a great departure from mainstream stereotypical psychological theory, particularly in the area of psychological personality testing and psychotherapy. In my opinion, “therapy” is largely and often, but not always a failure.

I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have lived in New York City, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma City, and currently reside in Los Angeles, California. After graduating high school I obtained my Associate Arts degree in respiratory therapy and worked as a Respiratory Therapist for several years. Fulfilling a quest for world culture and knowledge, I joined the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller and served onboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk for four years. This experience brought me to 5 continents and many countries throughout the world. I then pursued my business interests and educational goals, which coincided with the birth of my daughter, Ashley, now age 20. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in behavioral science from National University. I then received both my Master's Degree and Doctorate Degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. In 2009 I received my MBA in marketing.

I have also had several years of extensive training in Team-Building Concepts & Philosophies, and Team Leader Training; both in theory and in practice. Additionally, I have worked with teams in many different settings addressing a variety of different issues. Most noteworthy are those issues which identify in a positive manner the often missed nuances of concepts such as “relationship”, “caring” and “team.” These are the core concepts and philosophies associated with “true” team-building. Unique Team Enhancement provides very unique and specific tactics toward implementing these concepts and philosophies into your organization which leads to successful team relationships with very powerful results. I also have experience with Eastern and Western tribal philosophies which embrace a strict adherence to a village team mentality and true team structure.I am the Founder of Unique Team Enhancement which I conceptualized and created while I was a doctoral student of clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. This creation was a result of a realization, in my opinion, that mainstream team-building was built and exists on a flawed foundation of psychological testing, rote modular paradigms and pre-determined formulas.

My hope is that you will find the concepts and philosophies of Unique Team Enhancement extremely honest and very refreshing while challenging you to explore different viewpoints than those routinely proposed to you by mainstream psychology, mainstream consultants, and mainstream team-builders.
